im kind of in the middle of school work right now but i have have bad A.D.D. so im guna post some pictures that were edited by jackasses to make the girls in these pictures look emaciated.
yes, i love bones; yes, i love thinnes; but there IS a point where its gone too far. editing pictures like these often causes girls to make a goal that is unattainable.
literally.
unattainable as in you'd drop dead long before you got to it.
so, it annoyed me when i saw people thinking they could actually look like some of these women.
it just goes to show what people can do these days.

ReplyDeleteyeah, the problem with these are it: A) makes disordered girls have something they think they can achieve and B) makes Moms, fundamentalists, and people who love jumping on bandwagons outraged because they think these are also real and need someone to blame.... who do they blame? Anorexics! They never point fingers at the dumbasses doing the manips.
ReplyDeleteAnorexia is such a persecuted and misunderstood illness and things like this do not help clear the fog. Thanks for posting the before and afters, I hadn't seen a lot of the befores. Very informative.

I agree with Jenna. The befores are the ones I want to look like, the manips look stupid, disgusting, and obviously altered.

wow, they were actually pretty scary to look at, the before photos were so beautiful and thin, the manips were just terrible, as you said i love bones too, but not quite to that extent..

wow this is so intersting, im SUPER glad you posted this. i can distinctly remember seeing pictures of the photoshopped pics on peoples pages and just around on the internet and i always thought "jeez that is SO thin!" and until now, i always thought they were real! thanks girl!
